Read Description! Sony Bdp-cx960 Blu-ray Player

Up for sale is a Sony 400 cd blueray player. We have done some testing and have found a few things to note about this unit. It appears that this unit is starting to have the issue where sometimes a certain disc is coming up as "invalid". It does not appear to be specific to any disc rather it being random. We did some research and this is usually caused by a laser which is starting to show signs of failing.  The issue where it reads the disc as "invalid" happens rarely but we did manage to come across it.  What we found through research is that every single unit will eventually develop this problem and the only solution down the road if it gets worse is a laser replacement. Looks like they are available and cost around  65$. Some service has been done to ensure the best possible performance. The belts inside have been professionally replaced, also the optical laser has been properly cleaned. Unit includes an original Sony Blu-ray player remote but it is not the (oem spec). Remote still works with all major functions! This unit has some wear and marks from usage over time.. Please inspect all pictures closely. Please let us know if you have any questions.
